A rebrand focused on transforming the event into a bold, energetic visual system through updated typography, logo design, social media graphics, and branded merch.

Event introduction

The Cleaning Olympics is a competition created to spotlight and honor the often-unseen expertise of frontline housekeeping professionals. The event takes place at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas and features competitive cleaning challenges including bed-making, mop relays, and precision tasks.

Concept

The visual system is built around the transformation from dirty to clean, showing a strong drive for excellence, highlighted by the use of gold medal material in the logo to represent high quality and top performance.

I started thinking about trying to make the “Cleaning Olympics” in the shape of soap.

I tried using the cleaning figure behind the “Cleaning Olympics” and trying to split the words diagonally to show the difference between ‘dirty’ and ‘clean'.’ I added bubbles I drew to the line.
