Risographs

For this Riso, I wanted to do a piece that had multiple pieces that represents me.

This is the image of me that I decided to go with.

Of course I had to add a picture of my cat, she’s my world.

I did 2 image traces of the photo. I couldn’t decide between the 2, so I decided to use both of them.

After putting the 2 images into Procreate, this is the picture I came up with. I had to draw the fur of my hoodie because it got lost in the image trace.

I started trying out different color combinations.

I have 03 for my birthday, and strawberries to make up for the fur in my hoodie.

I wanted to add something music-related, because I love music, and something related to travel since I travel a lot.

I started adding more texture.

I couldn’t decide how I wanted to incorporate music, and the music notes felt cliche so in my final piece, I decided to go with an audio waveform.

This RIsograph is about my trip and experience with my friends in Puerto Rico. I imaged-traced all the pictures on Illustrator and brought them into Photoshop to layer and color them.

This is an image trace from the trip, of my friends and me on the ATV.

This image is also on the first layer. It’s a drink that was in a pineapple that we got at Luquillo beach.

This is a drink spilling. In the picture of my cousin and I, I had shortly dropped her drink into the water so I wanted this drink to represent that.

This is a picture I took of the water at the beach in Carolina, Puerto Rico.
